Mandrarossa Vineyard Tour 2019

A weekend between the sea and the mountains discovering the flavors and the identity of a territory that produces wines and creates emotions.

A journey through the vineyards and the uncontaminated beaches of Menfishire, with amenities such as outdoor sports, music, technical tastings, bike rides and tasting the dishes of Sicily’s culinary traditions.

The tour begins at the welcome point of Cantine Settesoli, where you can receive information about the program, rent bikes for a ride on the trails or take part of the Winery tour. After that, the Mandrarossa Vineyard Tour becomes a one of a kind sensory experience, from the subtle hills in Menfi to the “Giache Bianche” beach, uncontaminated location of an event that each year shares the exiting ritual of the harvest and conviviality with its guests.

Armed with shears and baskets and accompanied by the stories of our staff, guests are immediately immersed in the vineyard’s landscape and begin living firsthand the experience of the harvest. For those who like outdoor activities, there are boat tours or horseback riding, windsurfing or other activities that allow to fully appreciate the surrounding nature. For lunch and dinner, the Mandrarossa Vineyard Tour guests can taste all the typical dishes prepared by the Women of the kitchen brigade that oversee the tasting tables. Here, shaded by the pine groves Molinari and Pelella, the traditional dishes from Menfi are paired with Mandrarossa wines and with live music in the background, creating an atmosphere of complete relaxation where there is also an area dedicated to the children.

The other exclusive location of the event is the Mandrarossa home, where the technical tastings take place, held by experts from the sector, as well as other events on food & wine. A rare occasion for wine lovers who wish to discover the Mandrarossa universe, from the native varieties to the international ones, from the innovative varieties to the specialty line, leading to the Contrada wines, paired with local dishes. A new entry of the 2019 Vineyard Tour was MandraChef, featuring Andrea Lo Cicero, Mandrarossa testimonial and ex professional rugby player for the Italian national team, and Valeria Raciti, winner of MasterChef 8, both competing for the best dish. Also, in the program, the Wine Dinner with a special menu prepared by Valeria Raciti: an exclusive dinner under the stars, with four courses paired with Mandrarossa wines, and a live musical performance as the background.
